The Aderemi Sanni Stadium is set to come alive on Tuesday, the 4th of November, as the finest officers from Osun State’s military and paramilitary formations gather for the grand finale of the OSUN Military Paramilitary Games 2025, a celebration of discipline, strength, and unity in service, ijobasportsnews.com reports.
For the past several days, Ede has been the heartbeat of competitive spirit, teamwork, and camaraderie. Now, the stage is set for the climax, a day where champions will be crowned, records will fall, and the colors of courage will shine brightest.

The day’s program begins with Athletics Events at 9:00 a.m., featuring the fastest and fittest in the 100m Final (9:10 a.m.), 400m Final (9:20 a.m.), 200m Final (10:20 a.m.), and the electrifying 4x100m Relay Final (10:40 a.m.) — all promising moments of sheer speed and grit.
At 11:00 a.m, raw power and teamwork take center stage in the Tug of War Finals, between the Nigerian Police Force and Nigeria immigration service (male and female) a contest that has become one of the tournament’s most anticipated spectacles.
On the football pitch, the Third Place Match kicks off at 9:30 a.m, between NIgeria Immigration Service and Federal Road Safety Corps, while the spotlight later shifts to the Football Final at 12:00 noon, where passion, pride, and determination will decide who lifts the ultimate trophy, between Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps and Nigeria Police Force.

Throughout the day, there will be Medal and Trophy Presentations, held before, during, and after the football final, to recognize exceptional athletes, teams, and officers whose performances have inspired admiration and respect across all participating agencies.
Speaking ahead of the finale, Alhaji Olayiwola Olafiranye, CEO of ACE Sports, described the Games as a reflection of the strength and unity that define the service sector in Osun State.
“This tournament is more than just about competition, t’s about celebrating discipline, teamwork, and shared purpose among our uniformed men and women,” Olafiranye said.

“We are proud of the level of sportsmanship and brotherhood we’ve witnessed over the past week. These Games show that beyond the uniform, there is unity, passion, and excellence.”
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Osun Sports Officers Association, Olufemi Bankefa commended the commitment of all participating agencies and reaffirmed the association’s dedication to promoting wellness, unity, and collaboration through sports.
“We have seen outstanding performances and inspiring stories of resilience from every formation,” he remarked.
“This initiative has strengthened inter-agency understanding and reminded us that physical fitness and teamwork are essential to national service. We look forward to an even greater edition next year.”

Expected to grace the grand occasion are the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke; the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi; the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun; and Yeye Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, and head of various military Paramilitary agencies.
